I just bought the latest installment of Guitar Hero. After playing Legends of Rock, which in my view was the highpoint so far, this feels like kind of a step backwards. If you’re totally in to Aerosmith it’s awesome I guess but if you just like their major hits some of the songs feel a bit boring. The idea of supporting bands who play the first two songs is a good one that I hope they keep if they do other band-specific expansions (give Metallica!!). Overall a good game, nothing special though.
For those who never played Guitar Hero, you must try it! I thought it looked very silly when I first watched someone play and I thought I could never like it. Once I tried it (along at home!) it really changed my mind. It’s like singstar only cool, you can play an air guitar and be a hero!
