In recent news 3D realms have gone out of business. Whatever this means for Duke Nukem Forever is currently under dispute, why end a gaming joke of ten years just because the developer is gone? With a number of employees laid off some of the material from the Duke Nukem Forever development have surfaced on the Internet. Below you will find a video of some gameplay footage. You can also visit the official website while it’s still around and grab some desktop wallpapers to help you remember this game that never was.

This time the video is a little different than usual. Shown in the movie is the battle between two players, a protoss and a terran, and it’s commented much like a football match by two commentators. While it may not be to common to see commented matches like this around Europe I’m told it’s much more common in for example Korea where some games and matches are shown on TV like we watch sport. Blizzard might want this trend to catch on outside of Korea as well seeing this will probably help boost the gaming industry.

Start Craft 2 is coming along nicely! I just can’t wait to get it. Apparently the “goodie bag” at BlizzCon contained beta keys for Star Craft 2. Other news from SC2 is that it will be a trilogy, one campaign for each race. I guess we have lots of games to buy ahead of us! Meanwhile alot of speculation is going about regarding Blizzards other games in development. Diablo 3 recently got an official new class, the wizard. Other than that Blizzard are still holding out on another secret game project.
